Hey...I said I wouldn't talk politics on my site, didn't say I wouldn't do it on here. I must say, I am truly ashamed & appalled of the remark Former Education Secretary William Bennett made regarding aborting black babies in order to reduce crime rates. That is precisely the kind of remark that give people like Shelly and other democrats fuel for their fire. Shame shame on you Mr. Bennett! Nelita Oh yeah Shelly, after 20 years, you forget how to spell my name! Geez!
Nelita, you have not read Bennett's comments in full. The left has taken his remarks out of context, not surprisingly, and blown this way out of proportion.
I encourage you to visit http://espellahumanzee.blogspot.com/ and read the complete transcript.
"The president believes the comments were not appropriate," White House press secretary Scott McClellan said. Even the (P)resident has reservations about Bennett's words. There are several subjects that are just too taboo (and wrong) to touch. He lumped about 3 together in that discussion.
Oh, and a good way to discourage the lame advertizements I just discovered that Google has introduced the option of word verification for blogger comments. Go into your comment settings and check it out. I've posted to a couple blogs that use it, and it's not all that annoying, really...and a good way to combat automated spam...

My guess is that Bennett, deep down, believes that crime comes from black people.

According to FBI statistics, it does, and those stats go back to Clinton and before...
But, Bush probably had them *doctored*...
