Tom Delay on Wolf Blitzer
Tom was being interviewed by Wolf and amidst all the "i didn't do anything illegal" cries, Tom said that "criminalizing" the election codes was the wrong avenue. He said that it is wrong to use the courts when it comes to elections. I am trying to get the transcripts from CNN, cause it was so funny. I kept thinking to myself...God I wish that he had said that in 2000!

I am used to "cronyism" of this administration. But those are the perks when you are the head cheese...you get to choose incompetence over experience!!
You're right, the courts are what screwed up Florida in 2000 in the first place. Bush won every recount, and it was the Florida supreme court that kept ruling beyond it's authority and in violation of the law to continue selective recounts. It was the Supreme Court that upheld the law and put a stop to Gore's whining...well, no, he's still whining...but they stopped it from putting the country on hold waiting for an outcome that had already been decided.
