Tom Coburn...when doggie doo turns white....

Yep. I can't help it. I really don't understand this man. He is the physical manifestation of the exact moment doggie doo turns white.
I called his senate office in Tulsa to find out what is going on with the relief efforts in N.O.L.A. and Mississippi and to find out what Oklahoma was doing about it. I was rudely dismissed by his office staff who said..."this is a state issue, why don't you ask your democratic govorner" then he proceeded to tell me that Democrats have their morals all screwed up..blah..blah..blah..I told him I don't care about gay marriage...I don't care about Terry Schiavo...I care about these people in the hurricane damage not having potable drinking water. He proceeded to give me the conservative crap that Tom Coburn didn't have anything to do with this..blah, blah, blah. He told me he used to be a Democrat and would NEVER be one again cause we were all screwed up. I don't understand it. Do you have to be a republican to get answers from your republican representatives? Am I not allowed to call and ask questions of my goverment? Well, Dr. Tom Coburn, the gloves are off pal. You aren't up for re-election in 06, but you will feel the heat from my kitchen!!!! And, by the way, I called my democratic govorner and his office staff gave me the answers I was wanting...they are sending help to the affected areas....so go home Tom, have a mint julep and turn on your a/c....they aren't your problem...

The Christian Right has gone nutty as a fruitcake.....

Okay, I spent almost every Sunday from conception in a pew in a Southern Baptist Church. I was baptised in my pool at the age of 10 cause our church held a huge Southern Style Baptism in our back yard. As of late, I have been re-thinking my faith. I came across this and realized why.........
Religious broadcaster Pat Robertson suggested on-air that American operatives assassinate Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez to stop his country from becoming "a launching pad for communist infiltration and Muslim extremism.""We have the ability to take him out, and I think the time has come that we exercise that ability," Robertson said Monday on the Christian Broadcast Network's "The 700 Club.""We don't need another $200 billion war to get rid of one, you know, strong-arm dictator," he continued. "It's a whole lot easier to have some of the covert operatives do the job and then get it over with."Chavez has emerged as one of the most outspoken critics of President Bush, accusing the United States of conspiring to topple his government and possibly backing plots to assassinate him. U.S. officials have called the accusations ridiculous."You know, I don't know about this doctrine of assassination, but if he thinks we're trying to assassinate him, I think that we really ought to go ahead and do it," Robertson said. "It's a whole lot cheaper than starting a war ... and I don't think any oil shipments will stop."

This statement, plus the whole Justice Sunday and Justice Sunday II Nerds in Paradise, and his statements about hoping there are "more openings on the Supreme Court" have me pondering what type of CHRISTIANITY this nut job is promoting...it is not the kind I grew up with. God Is Love.
Yet again, one reason why the Right is Wrong.

Jeff Gannon.

Ok. Just to warn you. You will hear me mention Jeff Gannon more than once. This is one of the funniest scandals (if you can call it one...which I think you can) that has come out of the Bush2 White House. First..he is gay in a clearly anti-gay administration. Second...he is a gay-prostitute in a clearly anti-gay administration, but they like the self-employed you know. Third...his real name is James Guckert. He got a press pass to the White House press corp under an assumed name. He is not a real reporter. He has a web site. In a world where we have to take our shoes off to get on a plane and a two year old ends up on a no-fly list, we have had our stuff x-rayed and out persons fondled by every security guard in the country...this looser gets into the white house under alias!!! Fourth...he throws softball questions, supports the pres. 100%, makes anti-democrat comments and Scott McClellan loved him!!!!! Makes you wonder why he is there? Was he DOING something or someone in the white house (uhum..Karl) ? It is just funny to me....So he takes a lot of abuse from me, and...well...he asked for it.

Reasons Why Bush Won't Meet with Cindy...

I posted these randomly on the Crawford Peace House Site:
Top reasons why Bush Won't meet with Cindy:
1. Jeff Gannon is supposed to call with the results of his "tests"
2. During a heated game, Karl Rove sunk his Battlehip
3. The world hates him and he is pouting.
4. He is up on the roof of the white house with duct tape trying to find that darn leak everyone is talking about.
5. The dog ate his homework that had the exit strategy on it.
6. Karl Rove has yet to tell him how to answer Cindy's questions.
7. He can't get that new Jessica Simpson song out of head..."These boots were made for Bombin'"
8. He just can't put down "My pet Goat". It just gets funnier and funnier everytime he reads it!!!
9. The twins are on another beer run
10. He can't spell Sheehan.
11. He is playing phone tag with Bob Novak.

First Blog...Hello, I'm Shelly

I want to introduce myself first off...
I am Shelly. I am a mother of 4 wonderfull children. I live in Tulsa, OK. I am 33 years old and over the last 8 years I have shifted so far Left, I am probably going to tilt the world off it's axis.
Hopefully I can make a difference in 06. Although none of our useless representatives up there in D.C. are running in 06, I have decided to focus my attention, efforts and cash on states like PA where the seats are up for grabs and are very important to the democrats! One voice can make a difference and I think Cindy Sheehan has told us that.
